At Polyflor, we strive to be an environmentally and economically sustainable business, recycling and reducing waste and being as carbon neutral as possible. Our new product development continues to focus on reducing environmental impact by providing a high level of durability, reliability, ease of maintenance and safe disposal. Whilst choosing Environmentally Preferable Flooring from Polyflor, it is also important to be assured that this means zero compromise in choice and the function of the product.
We have been ISO 14001 accredited since 2000, but our recent achievements include excellent BRE Global ratings for individually assessed key products as well as industry success with BRE A+ generic ratings for vinyl flooring across many categories. We have also made superb inroads by significantly reducing our energy and carbon emissions and also our waste. All of this is achieved from manufacturing, right the way through to our offices with the Green Officiency Challenge Toolkit in place. Recycling has and will continue to play a massive part in Polyflor’s everyday operations including internal recycling of production waste as well as leading the way with a pioneering vinyl take back scheme.
