Improved sports facility for primary pupils
Children at Rack House Primary School in Wythenshawe, Manchester, can now enjoy a wide variety of indoor sports following the installation of maple-style Polyflor Sport 67 - complete with game line markings – in the school sports hall.
In the lead up to London 2012, this has come at a crucial time when the government is looking to improve sport development and increase the number of hours schoolchildren partake in physical activity each week.
“We’re really pleased with the end result – it’s just what the children need,” says school site manager Brian Johnson. “The flooring provides the underfoot resilience and long life we require and with the line markings the hall is suitable for a wide range of sporting activities including football, badminton, netball and basketball.”
