Polyflor enters the arena
2000 PUR sheet vinyl flooring has made quite an impact at The Play Arena, a new children’s play centre in Sheffield.
The marbleised decoration and bright Rosehip colourway added vibrancy to the internal finish of the building, which boasts soft play areas, a kart track and a sports area amongst its long list of attractions for children of varying ages and abilities.
The 600m˛ of 2000 PUR was installed by Balfour Carpets in Sheffield and offers a highly resilient, easy to maintain flooring surface.
“It is important to have floors and surfaces that can cope with the demands of a busy play centre and at the same time add to its aesthetic appeal,” explains Sipra Deb, owner of The Play Arena.
“We wanted to create an environment that is child friendly, welcoming and stimulating for children and all of our interior finishes were chosen with these key criteria in mind.”
