Polysafe Verona safety flooring was installed at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield to create a light and airy space in their newly refurbished Children’s Outpatients Building.
Two subtle pastel shades from the Verona range, Oregano and Soft Peach, were installed by Unlimited Flooring of Stocksbridge to create a calming and non-institutional feel for patients and staff in reception, circulation and storage areas of the building which is operated as part of the Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

James Lines, Project Officer at Sheffield Children’s Hospital commented, “Polysafe Verona ticked all the boxes for this refurbishment. The area of the hospital now has a distinctive and welcoming feel thanks to the flooring’s crisp and clean finish. The added benefit is that Verona looks like a smooth vinyl but yet meets all the required safety flooring requirements to ensure underfoot protection for our visitors.”
