Amity Building Group managed the modern refurbishment of the Ranson Building at Emmanuel College, which is home to the Science and Technology department.

They transformed the existing general classrooms into innovative science laboratories, technology spaces, and woodwork rooms.

The project was successfully delivered in two separate stages, ensuring a timely opening for the new school year.

Watson Young Architects (WYA) upheld their renowned high standards when undertaking interior design responsibilities, reimagining the interior palette to create an inviting, engaging environment for staff and students.

WYA determined that Palettone PUR was the perfect flooring choice, bringing their creative vision to life. Its vibrant colours, durability, and ease of maintenance made it ideal for high-traffic educational areas.

The refurbished Ranson Building features three distinct learning spaces, each with a unique colour scheme to enhance its environment.

Therefore, the WYA Design Team selected a duo of shades for each space, ensuring they complemented its mood and function:

The subtle, consistent pattern of Palettone PUR added visual interest. Furthermore, large, curved radius cut-outs (alongside a two-tone colour effect) enhanced the dynamic flow whilst balancing the overall design concept.

On-site, the flooring installation ran smoothly, with its design features adding welcome flair.

Palettone PUR seamlessly integrated with the overall colour scheme in each room, enhancing their respective atmospheres.

Upon completion, Palettone PUR made a significant contribution to the dynamic transformation of the Ranson Building, with client feedback being overwhelmingly positive.

Furthermore, the cohesive look of the flooring emphasises an inviting, comfortable space where students and staff can thrive.

We chose Palettone PUR for this project as it offers vibrant, innovative colours which perfectly complement the various interior colour schemes and bring our creative vision to life.

Additionally, the flooring is highly suitable for classroom settings. It offers the durability, ease of maintenance, and functionality required to support an engaging learning environment.
